Twyford Writers

Twyford Writers society is a Tiverton-based writers group. They meet on the first Thursday of every month from 7-9pm at The Royal British Legion, (Bar area!), Angel Hill, Tiverton.

Founded in May 2003, the group caters for all ages and abilities; those who have a desire to learn how to write as well as those having experience to share.

It is important that individuals, who wish to write, can meet with others who will be sympathetic to, and understanding of the frustrations of the writer.

The emphasis of the group is on enjoyment and encouragement, with new initiatives to provide structured and positive constructive criticism.

Published authors, and other professionals, in various areas of the literary world, are invited to talk to us about the art of writing and getting published; we also have tutor led workshops on specific themes and genres. Everyone is welcome!
